Delivery and returns

How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?

We offer FREE delivery on orders over £25 or on those orders including a Bob Martin product. *For orders under £25 or without a Bob Martin product there is a delivery charge of £3. *It’s our aim to get your pet’s medication to you as soon as possible so our standard delivery is by Royal Mail 1st class and takes 2-3 days. *Saturday, Sunday and public/bank holidays are non-working days.
*What are the exceptions?
We try and keep postage costs as low as possible, however there are some things which need to be delivered by a courier and therefore, incur a charge of £4.95. The good news is that if you include a Bob Martin product in these orders, the cost is discounted to £3.95.

Please note:
  • Orders containing food with non-food items will be sent in separate deliveries.
  • We currently do not deliver food items to the Highlands and Islands.
  • Only 2 aerosols can be sent out per order. If more than 2 are ordered, a further delivery charge may be applied.
What if I need my order quickly?
If your pet needs their medication sooner, we can deliver it by a guaranteed Next Day Courier service for £4.95 (for orders in stock and placed before 12pm).
Please note that orders for Next Day Courier services need to be ordered with prescriptions received by 12pm.  

Any orders placed after 12pm on Thursday will be delivered on Monday and any orders placed after 12pm on a Friday will be despatched the following Monday.

Our returns policy
Returning non-prescription items
Perhaps you’ve changed your mind, or you’ve accidentally bought a cat brush for your Old English Sheepdog. Either way, you have 7 days to cancel your order after receiving your purchase, provided it’s unopened and unused.
Here’s how to go about returning unwanted items:

  1. Return your items to the returns address on your invoice
  2. Ensure the items are unopened and unused and in their original packaging
  3. We’ll refund the cost of your order in full (including postage). You should receive the money within 10 days.

Unfortunately, we cannot pay for the cost of returning an item unless the item is faulty or we’ve sent the wrong thing. And we can’t accept a return if a product has been opened or used.

Returning prescription items
We take your pet’s health very seriously, so as a licensed supplier of veterinary medicines governed by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Medicines Directorate we are unable to accept returns of prescribed medications. This is to ensure the safety of any animals involved, as items could have been stored incorrectly or, even worse, tampered with.
Please only order the medication you require, and avoid ordering in large quantities in case your pet’s medication needs change, as they’re prone to do. If you have any questions or concerns before you place your order, call us on. Our vets and qualified dispensers know about the medicines they’re prescribing and can offer advice on how they should be used.
