Zylkene: Notes from our vet
Our pets can often be upset by new or unexpected situations. The arrival of a new baby or another pet in the home, lots of noisy visitors or a loud firework display can send cats or dogs into hiding or make them suddenly aggressive.
If you know that your pet is going to have trouble coping, perhaps they hate going to the vet or get very anxious if they have to stay in kennels or a cattery, then giving them Zylkene capsules can help make life easier.
Zylkene is a totally natural product derived from milk protein which is well known to promote relaxation. It can be given alongside other medications and doesn’t have any harmful side effects.
It’s been made to be super tasty so is easy to mix in with your pet’s food or can even be given as a treat.
While you may not always be able to avoid stressful situations with your pet, Zylkene offers a way to help them cope better and feel happier.

It's helped us with our nervous rough collie, who hates being in the car, although it doesn't cure, he's now better than he once was.
This product was recommended to me by a behaviour therapist helping us with our dogs separation anxiety. While still she is still anxious there is a notable improvement in her general demeanor and behaviour. Is early days but it's looking promising.
Too early to tell yet as our vet told us they will probably take 2 - 3 months to kick in and work properly to see maximum effects. We have them with a view to using them long term for a very anxious, highly strung rescue dog. Fingers crossed!
This drug is used to treat my dog's early onset dementia and it has worked better than we could of imagined...calmed her down and given us back our happy dog..
